The Nike Air Force 1 Black Sole is proof that I had to get the whole pack.
Following up on the Pink Foam pair I recently reviewed, I am hereby completing the set!
In total, 3 have released with this blocking, in addition to the two mentioned there is also a Red Bottom colorway
These come in a basic grey AF1 box and ship with basic flat white laces. Pretty basic release as far as features or extras, with the main standout being the colorway/color blocking.
I got all these solid-midsole/outsole pairs based on the colorways and completing the trio of releases. At first I had underestimated how much I would like this specific colorway; plain black and white seems kind of boring on the surface. Overall though I think this might be the sharpest/best colorway out of the three as the black contrasts perfectly and creates a bit of a stark look to these, but in a good way.
How Are The Materials?
The quality here is basic. Regular smooth leather is in place on the upper except for the nylon tongue. Other than some slight textured finish on the swoosh, the materials are nothing to write home about. If you are getting a general release AF1 and expecting premium quality leather, look elsewhere as these deliver just the basics. Overall these type of kicks are a good look only if you are feeling the colorway.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Air Force 1 Black Sole fit slightly big like all AF1s. Normally I’d get a size 10 in Nikes, but I go for a 9.5 on Forces. The chunky midsole with Nike Air is of course cushy. You will definitely notice that these sit only slightly heavy and have you up about an inch off the ground, which makes them not only comfortable, but good stompers as well!
